Item: 1 copy of A Child's Christmas in Wales, by Dylan Thomas

This is a short book, about 60 pages, of Christmas memories that all run together, of a fire and snow, a village and music, uncles and aunts and boys playing, of scary stories and funny gifts.  As described at the beginning of this book it's hard to remember what memory goes with what year, and this is yet another reason that I love Christmas - it's so rich and so bigger than the sum of its parts.  It can contain everything that's ever happened to a person, but change shape every year as if every one is the first.
