Item: 1 watercolor paint set

I don't know how to paint, nor do I have any artistic talent.  I am terrifically un-talented when it comes to visual representations of things, but I like playing with the paints anyway.  There is something incredibly soothing about the brushes, and the water, and the colors.

This is such a nice little set, in its wooden case with the brushes and the tubes of colors.  One thing about being a writer is that there's really no gear involved, other than a piece of paper and a writing implement.  Painters have a kit with all the stuff.  Musicians have their instruments.

Writing, from this standpoint, is about something more abstract.  To me, anyway, the act of writing itself is nothing on its own - there's no way to experience it apart from the result.  The satisfaction, when it comes, doesn't come from the movement of the pen itself, and certainly not from typing on a keyboard, only from the substance of what's being written.
