Item: 4 coral-colored towels

Even before I moved back here and had my own apartment, I planned on decorating the bathroom in shades of orange and green.  It's one of those things you can lie awake imagining, decorating a place.  It was a good thing, too, to bring in some color, because the bathroom in the apartment I moved into was totally, no matter where you looked, white.

For another place, a different geographic location, I might have picked different colors - black and white, or blue and yellow, but these seemed right for California.  Luckily, my towels go well in this apartment too.  I wouldn't have thought so, because there's a stripe of dark red tile along the floor.  But I am, after all, still in California.
