Item: 1 TDK Superior Quality VHS Videotape

I know, how old-school to actually use a videotape to record a program.  But it's completely sufficient for my needs, for the few occasions I do wish to record something (aka Gilmore Girls on Tuesdays).  I also just taped Great Performances "Bruce Springsteen: The Seeger Sessions Live at St. Luke's", which was on on 4th of July evening, and let's hear it for public television.

I thought I'd just watch a few minutes of it tonight, which was silly.  I'm about a half hour into it and so much for everything else I was going to do tonight.  So much also for the usefulness of my videotape.  No way am I recording over this.
